Kristos Stavropoulos

Real Estate Developer

Kristos Stavropoulos first became passionate about information technology when, at the age of nine, he acquired his first computer. Shortly thereafter he created and monitored an on-line bulletin board system for the internet ecosystem before the launch of the World Wide Web. He progressed to developing applications for Internet Service Providers including Prodigy Classic and AOL. Throughout his years of schooling, Mr. Stavropoulos honed his expertise, especially in application development and information security.

He originally pursued to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an initial emphasis on Information Systems at CSUF. Upon his pursuit, he shifted gears to Entrepreneurship, paving the way for the founding of OK Problem Solved. As a consultant, he has collaborated with industry leaders such as JLL, CBRE, and Ocean West Capital Partners. Since 2008, he has been associated with Maguire Investments, MaguireJet, and Maguire Aviation. All companies founded by Robert F. Maguire III, a civic leader, the preeminent real estate developer who shaped the Downtown LA skyline, and helped shape Santa Monica & Playa Vista into a cornerstone of Silicon Beach.

Initially, Kristos was hired as Chief Information Officer, responsible for management, implementation, and the technical infrastructure of all the Maguire companies. He was elevated to Chief Development Officer, bringing in major investors and creating innovative development deals, including negotiations for Joint Venture partnerships, digital signage, and take-off and landing leases with major helicopter companies, dramatically increasing property value and revenues. He established positive relationships with prominent architects, developers, CEOs, and aviation authorities. Kristos gained expertise working with the top Advanced Air Mobility companies, notable architects, the FAA, DOT, and LA City Hall in order to establish the Maguire company as a strategic partner in the burgeoning Urban Air Mobility industry: the future of big city transportation. Continuing to promote projects in both industries, he solidified his footprint as a key player in pioneering Urban Air Mobility and leading the Vertiport development initiative.

On a personal level, he generously donated his skills and expertise to Saint Sophia Cathedral; and the former President and the Legal Counsel of the Beverly Hills Women’s Club in their philanthropic endeavors.
